Beauty First is looking for an Accounting Assistant to join our Head Office operations.

Responsibilities & Duties

  • Full cycle bookkeeping. Payroll, invoicing, GST/HST. etc.
  • Maintain accounts, prepare cheques, invoices, payments, and deposits.
  • Oversee accounts receivables and accounts payable.
  • Bank reconciliation accounts and credit cards.
  • Prepare payroll, including employee cheques, reports, and T4 summaries.
  • Experience with cash flow, forecast and budget.
  • Prepare all government remittances, HST, EHT.
  • Prepare month and year-end financial statements.
  • Follow up with outstanding client invoices when required.
  • Various administrative duties.
  • Respond to staff and client inquiries and maintain client relations.
  • Prepare reports in Excel, Word.
  • Answering phones and working different shifts and weekend.
  • Provide clerical and administrative support to management, as requested.

Qualifications & Skills
  • High School Diploma.
  • Accounting/Bookkeeping certificate or higher.
  • Advanced level of Quickbooks Online.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
  • Accuracy and attention to detail.
